The introduction of virtual reality simulation
technology offers the medical profession reliable tools for assessment
and proficiency of surgical and medical skills. Simulation of surgical
& medical procedures using virtual reality training allows trainees
to safely practice and refine basic skills outside of the operating
room.
The simulated experience is not intended to replace real operative
experience but is meant to, according to Dr. Richard Satava, the pioneer
of medical procedural simulation, “provide permission to fail”
under supervision.
Part of a solution to assist the medical profession in the transference
and credentialing of skills is one of simulation, whereby a holistic
approach to training can replicate Skill, Knowledge, Attitudes and
Values.

collaboration with many world leading suppliers of simulation technology

Medic Vision is also developing simulators in areas
of medical procedure not adequately covered with existing products.
